Plainsboro Tamil club Supports the Mission to create a Harvard Tamil Chair.
We understand that Tamil is declared as one of the seven classical languages by Harvard University. While all the other six languages have a permanent chair; Tamil language is yet to have one. Having a permanent chair will help build sustained efforts of language research and treasure knowledge that the Tamil community offered to the world for overages.
As a voluntary Tamil school, engaged in teaching language free of charge to the younger generations in the US for over ten years; we are happy to support the mission to create Harvard Tamil chair.
